one of the top reasons why i, and for many others, go to a mariners game:

too bad the season is over.  but now i have basketball season to look forward to esp. b/c i already have some tickets.  yay!  go dwyane wade.

my cousin gave birth to a baby boy and his name is jonathan alexander truchot.  wow, long name.  this baby is going to be SO spoiled with materialistic things and love.  ugh, lucky brat.  j/k  =)  he already has a whole closet and a half full of clothes, a large bookcase full of books and videos and toys comin out the yin yang.  the toys i remember playing with in my early childhood years were my brother's micro machine cars.  here is a pic of the cute little bogger that was born on wednesday.  he's got a dimple but only on his left cheek!  =)

"i'm worried about you."  so my manager approached me today during work and said just that.  i was thinking "what in the wooorrrld?" and started chuckling b/c i'm totally fine.  she said that i looked kind of down lately and asked if anything was wrong.  maybe she caught me at a time of frustration when working w/ a rookie.  it was actually nice to know that she had some concern b/c she doesn't really seem like that kind of person.  ever since i was a kid, people would always ask me if i was ok when i was perfectly ok.  i think i just have a natural sad expression???  i thought todays little episode at work was funny. =)

what's everybody doing for labor day?     

would anybody consider adopting our dog Roca if we had to give her away?  we might have to if nobody is home to take care of her when we all go to work.  =(  i think i would cry when giving her away!  she's so friendly with other dogs and loves people.  although she's big, she sits in my lap and snores as i watch movies.  how cute.  for some reason, she loves to go under the covers and sleep by my brother's feet.  ew.  look at this little face.  how could i not cry if she had to leave?

it looks like she has socks on b/c her paws are white.  adorable. 

uh oh, there are the puppy dog eyes saying "let's plaaaayy" ...

it's been pretty difficult to be working at sb again.  the pay is even worse than it was before which is pretty hard to believe.  i'm all the way back to starting pay b/c of my time off for school in italy.  can you belive that?!  after over 1.5 yrs of commitment to this company, this is what they do to me.  don't support starbucks!!!  and also, i have to work with this one incompetent teenager with a bad attitude.  sorry, just have to vent a little. ..   i'm done now =)

no volleyball for about two weeks... i don't know how i'll do it, but i have to.  it's just torture i tell you! tortuurrrre.  oh how i love the spiking, digging, diving, yelling, teamwork, fellowship, etc. etc.   i'll just keep a positive point of view and think of how much i don't like to be in sweltering heat.  i'm much too dark and should stay out of the sun anyway.  y'all have fun.

on a lighter note...

thank goodness for the nordstrom anniversary sale.   it just makes me feel good.  i got 3 pairs of new shoes and some clothes.   yay!  what did everybody else get?

too hot!

no, no.  not me, silly.  this blistering heat is unbearable for me and our dog roca.  i took her for a short walk and she was panting so fast for a long time while laying on her side.  i thought, maybe she's having a heart attack!  noooooooo... but  she wasn't  .  

i've been getting a lot of "you're so tan!"  my mother keeps yelling at me for getting so tan and not wearing a hat while playing volleyball.  (i can't help it!  i just sweat the sunblock off.)  is anybody else's mom opposed to them being anything else but pasty white?  gross.   p.s.  anybody...everybody, come out to wilcox and play some volleyball on sundays, friends.  we'll have a grand ol' time.

it's great to be going back to church.  being away for 2.5 months from it was a long time

this is my baby rabbit.  it's suuuuper cute when it hops around twitching it's little nose.  i named it Dog, just like my late hamster's name.

i went to a puppy store w. my bro and saw this funny puppy.  it's tongue would NOT go in!!
